Academic Requirements
To be admitted to the RN to BSN program online at South University, the prospective student must align with the following requirements:
- Completion of all general education requirements with a grade of C or higher in specified courses.
- ASN or diploma graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Overall grade point average (GPA) in all nursing college work attempted of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Provisional admission may be granted for an overall GPA of 2.0 to 2.49 on a 4.0 scale. Final admission requires completion of at least four general education courses with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Evidence of current, unencumbered RN license in state of clinical practice.
